Gasification

Waste to Energy Solutions

180 Waste Group’s range of thermal gasifiers provide the most technically competent and cost-effective solutions in the industry. Our small-scale waste-to-energy plants generate net positive energy with minimal emissions and parasitic loads.

What is Syngas?

Synthesis gas or Syngas is a combustible gas derives from a solid fuel by applying gasification technology at a high temperature and elevated pressure. Syngas is a synthetic natural gas containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen and is a gas that can be used to synthesize other chemicals, hence the name synthesis gas, which as shortened to syngas. The production of syngas to be used as a raw material is accomplished by the gasification of municipal waste and is used as a fuel to create steam or electricity. The energy created is the utilised elsewhere, thereby lowering operating costs. In a lot of cases, can give you a return on your investment (ROI) within 3 years.

Syngas fermentation provides a unique and sustainable route to produce biofuels, eliminate waste streams, and create a zero to landfill economy.
